Nintendo Direct + The Super Mario Bros Movie... is probably the only movie I'm going to see next year!

I'm not big on going to the movie theaters, especially after the big bad C reared its head, but... I might have to make an exception. The Super Mario Bros Movie is something I really want to see, outside of being a gamer, it looks amazing and... I'm just curious about the experience.

On top of that, Super Nintendo Land is headed our way in Orlando (also in 2023), so I'm just excited all around. Not to a fanboy degree, because I still have a love-hate relationship with Nintendo, but... Mario's a classic and great animation is always an eye-catcher. This poster might even find its way into the studio somewhere.

Check out The Super Mario Bros Movie Direct... below, and game on!

Now for my thoughts

I haven't played Gungrave in... decades, so it was awesome to see this game announced. That said, check out the gameplay below and I'll give my thoughts after.

Now that you've checked out the gameplay, I have to say that they could've made it feel a bit more modern as far as gameplay is concerned. Yes, you can unlock moves and all that good stuff, but this game is chockful of repetition that different moves won't exactly make a difference for. The character is also stiff, possibly stiffer than in the past... but I shrugged it off (but I may be mixing that game up with Rising Zan: The Samurai Gunman).

In terms of Gungrave G.O.R.E, this game could have been a lot better. Nothing wrong with some linear areas, especially in terms of some city areas, but (jeez)... there could've been more of an open environment where you ultimately make your way to target locations. Every game doesn't have to be open-world, but this is waaaaayyyyy too linear and doesn't flow as quickly as it could to fit the more arcade feel that they may have been after here. It should be looser to dial up the arcade fun but to be fair... I haven't checked out all the upgrades in order to know what's fully possible.

Top Audiences Last Week + A Free Game!

The competition was all the way fierce this past week... and Ireland seems extremely hungry. Let's see who topped the list, shall we? How do we get the rankings? It's simple, it's based on the audience engagement per country. So the more you engage the greater the chance your Country will land on the list and possibly on top. The USA has been dethroned before, so... bring it!

I should highlight different locations based on the top 10, shouldn't I? No better time than the present. So if you click on each country (in the top 10), you will get to see one of the locations available.

Top 10... let's go!
