First 30: Chained Echoes

If you're looking for an immersive and engaging RPG experience, definitely consider Chained Echoes. This 16-bit game is packed with a compelling storyline, challenging quests, and lovable characters like Glenn. Step into the world of Valandis as you embark on an adventure to bring an end to the war between its three kingdoms. With Chained Echoes, you'll be swept away into an impressive turn-based RPG that feels like a blast from the past.

While I can't recommend this one for children due to the language, adults should definitely consider this one if you want a lengthy adventure, Especially if you're a fan of top-side RPGs like Lunar. You fight on foot, in your Mech (as seen in the gameplay above), and you can also customize your airship, and get your loot on.

For busy parents and professionals, you can pick up and play this game here, and there, and have something to look forward to between your objectives. It's not a game where you're stuck and unable to progress in a certain area due to unseen enemies either (no offense to fans of beloved Final Fantasy games). As seen, you don't just have those random fights where you're roaming... and all of a sudden a battle begins. You see the enemies ahead of your encounter.

Overall, you're looking at 30+ hours of playtime with the ability to learn Action Skills, Passive Skills, Stats Boosters, etc. Chained Echoes is a great addition to any adult RPG fan's library. Rated M17+

Q+A w/ Keybeaux + Gaming!

Check out my recent interview with music producer... Keybeaux, and show some love by checking out his music afterward (of course the interview gives you a taste of what he has to offer, but... there's much more). This Q&A also features his top 5 rappers, which may or may not differ from yours. You may also find some gems that you're able to take away from this interview as well.

I should've asked about the weather because it's freezing in Florida right now. Don't laugh... but the low 30's is freezing for us, and I'm ready to get on a plane to travel with the destination being anywhere safe w/ fun + sun (and I can't forget the internet).

I can't leave this post without adding some gameplay for you to enjoy. Here's some... Eastward action!

Epic Games takes a $520 Million Dollar L from Fortnite?!

Epic Games has been hit with a staggering $520 million fine by the FTC over its use of in-app purchases in Fortnite and child privacy concerns. The popular game company has been ordered to pay back every penny that it has made from children who have spent money on the game without their parent's permission. That's over half of a billion dollars, but imagine being a parent stuck with a big bill from what has been described as "Illegal Practices". Yikes!

Epic says they've "reached a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). In it, Epic will pay $245 million USD to the FTC to resolve concerns related to past designs of the Fortnite item shop and refund systems in Fortnite, which the FTC will use to distribute to Epic customers at their discretion. Epic will also pay $275 million USD to the FTC to resolve concerns related to children’s privacy in Fortnite".

This is a huge blow to Epic Games, which has made billions of dollars from Fortnite and Fortnite merchandise. The company will now have to be much more careful about how it handles in-app purchases in the future, and it will send a message to other companies that may usher in two-way authentication for more free-to-play games.

Lastly, to end this article on a good note, please hurry over to Epic Games and grab a free game every day until Dec. 25th! These games cover different genres and they've been great options so far.
