Calling all Space Captains... its time... for Dreadnought!

Greeting Captains... this is the Intergalactic Super Gamer speaking.

Before making way to your ships, I just want to prepare the New captains among you.

Men, Women, Adult Children and plus size renegade Polar Bears Babies(!)... choose your vessels wisely for battle. You will have access to more than 50 playable ships, spread across five distinct classes to build your fleets for departure to the Rings of Saturn and the Red Sands.

Situated in space 60k kilometers above Saturn's largest moon, you will find a battleground that will test your skills as you maneuver around the colossal orbital ring that dominates it's center. Narrow gaps within the superstructure allow ships to cross from one side to the other, but... you must be wary of what dangers lurk on the other side.

The open beta of Dreadnought is available now for Windows PC & in closed beta for the PS4. Like in other free-to-play games... you have the option to buy items. In this case you can purchase specialized Hero Ships, experience boosts (which I hope doesn't promote pay to win) and cosmetic add-ons for your vessels.

Focus on mastering your vessels and actually utilizing team work to succeed (teamwork makes the dream work). Knowing what you can do for your team with the ship you possess... just may tip the battle in your favor if you're going in as a team with that mentality. You will find yourself in close-quarters combat, taking on enemies from long-range and even acting as strategic support. So use those unique specializations of weapons, modules, coatings and decals to open up a meteor sized can of you know... what.

One thing i'd suggest for this game that may add another level of awesome in the future, is to add in FPS ground based battles.

Well... that's all from me, ships don't fly themselves. You're dismissed... game on!

Yet another reason why gaming is awesome! + More!

Deus Ex this... that... etc.

In this article, you're getting SDGT's full attention. Not only by way of the coolness from the Deus Ex world, but because of something really cool that has emerged. You also have the option of being a part of it.

Seriously... for the people who think gaming is just a waste of time. Obviously you're just too close minded to give it a chance, but I can still respect the fact that you don't wish to play video games. Everyone has their preferences, but don't dump on the people that do, especially if they aren't hurting anyone and it either part of their career or not interfering with life's necessities.

If your hobby is something else, enjoy it, but some of us happen to prefer gaming as a hobby. Before I get into a full on write up about that, the reason for this post is something awesome that is coming out of gaming (yet again) for the greater good of people (no matter if they game or not).

Check out the video, and ask yourself... seriously... if gaming is just a waste of time or if some awesome things can come of it. What you see in this video will help multiple people in my opinion.

What do you think of this cool collaboration?

To keep the Deus Ex action going, here is nearly 18 minutes of gameplay action from the City-Hub Gameplay Demo:

I can't wait to get back into the world of Deus Ex. Square-Enix has been going hard, and I commend the individual development studios for kicking butt because new entries to these franchises have been fantastic.

I don't want to say that the old ones suck, but i'm glad to see the franchises reach the point they have reached.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming August 23rd, 2016!

Want more out of your Deus Ex experience?

How's about an arcade experience at no additional cost? Deus Ex: Mankind Divided... will have a mode known as "Breach"... that places you into a virtual world that deserves to be enjoyed in VR (in addition to the overall Deus Ex experience). I still don't have a full understanding of this experience, but a faster paced experience to change things up... is a plus.

We were also delivered Deus Ex: Mankind Divded - Breach

Oh... and before I wrap things up, Mobile gamers are not being left out of the awesomeness.

Even though the action could've been longer in the trailer (Square-Enix)... Deus Ex Go, looks like it could be very interesting. What i'm curious about mostly is... how they're going to change things up to fit the Deus Ex world. I don't just want to navigate from point to point in a dull layout.

Just like in Lara Croft Go & Hitman Go, you get a different feel in art style... and I want to see how the world can be presented in this game. Having cities to play through would be cool and with what I've experienced thus far in the GO game's, I have faith that it would work out well.

+1, Share, Get your hands on some ISG apparel and... Game on!

Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star
PlayStation®4 and  "PSVita"
[Release: Winter]

Expanding upon the extensive and much-beloved Fate universe with a standalone story from acclaimed series writer Kinoko Nasu (of Fate/stay night fame),Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, developed by Marvelous Inc., transpires through a diverse cast of "Servants" - ancient warriors of legend and imagination, in loyal service to their Masters - who survived the Holy Grail War that took place on the Moon. In a future ruled by the all-powerful lunar super computer Moon Cell Automaton, these champions now duke it out for dominance over this digital realm, known as "SE.RA.PH." This story takes place after the events described inFate/EXTRA, and depicts the world after that previous Holy Grail War. Players will experience the story from the independent perspectives of the three heroine Servants and face off in fast-paced action against foes from a variety of Fate productions, including characters from Fate/stay nightFate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order. A new form change battle mechanic debuts in this entry to match its series-first gameplay style, transforming the player-controlled Servants and granting them considerable powers that allow them to devastate enemies and take formidable challenges head-on.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns
Nintendo 3DS™
[Release: 2017]

In celebration of the upcoming 20th anniversary of gaming's longest-running farming and life simulation series, this newest entry in the beloved Bokujo Monogatari franchise - now known as STORY OF SEASONS in the West - delivers the biggest adventure yet in STORY OF SEASONS: Trio of Towns. Settled on a homestead in the middle of three distinct and uniquely themed locales, players can explore a diverse landscape as they search for new ways to grow their farms and friendships. Extensive customization and gameplay options are on offer in Trio of Towns, with each village offering its own variety of regional crops, lads and ladies to romance, animals, festivals, furniture, decorations and more. More ways to play sprout up as players connect to one another locally or via the internet to chat, trade, and enhance items on a mysterious multiplayer island.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II
PlayStation®3 and  "PSVita"
[Release: Fall 2016]

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II
picks up one month after the decisive collision which changed the fate of the entire nation at the conclusion of Trails of Cold Steel. Speedy, tactical turn-based combat with the newly-developed "ARCUS" system returns with all the bells and whistles players fondly remember alongside a new Overdrive mode, new means of transportation covering both land and sky, new allies, new dangers, and a renewed sense of hope as Rean tirelessly works to right the wrongs that have led the country to disarray. Cross-Save functionality between the game's "PSVita" and PS3™ editions returns, and clear data from the first game grants bonus stats and extra items. In addition, relationships cultivated during the earlier time players spent at Thors Military Academy affect future story elements and allow for more personalized conversations throughout the game.
Corpse PartyNintendo 3DS™
[Release: Summer 2016]

In the critically acclaimed cult hit Corpse Party, players take control of a group of Japanese high school students who inadvertently engage in a pagan ritual and find themselves inexplicably transported into a whole other space: an inescapable echo of a long-since demolished school building where a series of brutal murders once took place. Presented using crisp 2D sprite graphics in a classic 16-bit style, Corpse Party is brought to life with gruesome and horrifyingly detailed portraits and art stills, vividly descriptive text, and binaural 3D audio when played with headphones for a more immersive audioscape. Players' nerves will be thoroughly tested in this horror adventure, which provides a uniquely engrossing and terrifying story-driven experience. Remastered from the 2011 PSP game, the Nintendo 3DS rendition of Corpse Party will feature redrawn, high-resolution character sprites, newly arranged music tracks, and 3D art stills, as well as four new Extra Chapters exclusive to this version that provide insight into lesser-shown characters and plot elements previously left unexplained.

From the Source: Xseed... is delivering 3 titles for your gaming pleasure! + a New Elusive Target!

This is a PS-Demand post... but if you're a Nintendo fan, you will be happy to
know that you are not left out of this triple line-up of games Xseed is preparing to launch
this year. For anyone wondering what Shantae is doing in this lineup, Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero specifically... is being released for WayForward on the retail front by Xseed. Our first hand experience with Shantae Half-Genie Hero... during last E3, was absolutely beautiful and we
can't wait to dive into the full blown adventure. Gameplay video added in for good measure!

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

In the magical world of Sequin Land lives Shantae, a spirited young half-genie. She has dedicated her life to defending her home of Scuttle Town from evil in all forms, and has been called upon again as pirates attack!

Using her trademark Hair-Whip Attack and special ability to transform herself into various kinds of creatures by way of magical belly-dancing, she must fight her way through steamy jungles, ancient ruins, and stormy deserts to topple the villainous Barons behind each criminal caper, preparing for the ultimate showdown against her arch-nemesis: the bodacious buccaneer, Risky Boots!
After three successful outings, Shantae is ready to embark on her first full HD adventure in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero for PS4™, "PSVita", and Wii U. Vibrant, high-definition sprites complement the excellent action-packed exploration and platforming the series is known for. As Shantae masters her transformative powers, old stages can be explored again to unearth new items and secrets, ensuring there's plenty of content for casual players and platforming gurus alike!

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will be published physically on all three announced platforms this fall in a special "Risky Beats" retail release packaged with a musical selections CD containing over 20 songs from the game's soundtrack, with each offered at a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity

Immortality can be boring. At 500 years old, the so-called "Scarlet Devil," Remilia Scarlet, is desperately searching for something new to end the monotony.

After stumbling upon a newspaper article about a powerful, mysterious monster terrorizing the countryside, she rushes out to see if this could finally be the excitement for which she yearns. Unfortunately, not only is she unsuccessful in her search for the monster, but she returns to find her manor in ruins. It would seem the monster has come to her! With a renewed sense of determination (and a much-needed respite from her boredom), she vows to take revenge on this fiend and make it pay!
Set in the ever-evolving Touhou Project universe, the fan-created Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity trades in the series' top-down "bullet hell" roots for an action RPG approach, drawing inspiration from series such as Ys while still retaining a distinctly indie feel. Players take the role of the titular vampire, Remilia Scarlet, or her devoted maid, Sakuya Izayoi, as they explore a wide variety of environments and battle aggressive creatures. Fast-paced combat and the series' trademark complex patterns and waves of projectiles will keep players on their toes as they fight to retake Scarlet's manor!

Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity will be published digitally on the PlayStation®Store for PS4™ later this fall. More information will be provided in the coming months.

Exile's End

In the distant future, mega-corporation Ravenwood exists more as an interplanetary government than a company, controlling commerce and manipulating the economy with its own private army.

So when its president's son goes missing on a remote mining planet and all contact is lost, the company quickly dispatches a team of mercenaries to investigate. Immediately upon their arrival in orbit, however, the team's ship experiences an electrical failure and careens toward the surface. Numerous soldiers eject from the crashing ship via escape pods, but only one seems to make landfall relatively unscathed: an old, embittered private named Jameson. In his efforts to restore communications on the planet, he ends up discovering the remains of the mining colony and learns a truth far more sinister than he ever could have imagined...

A dark and futuristic 2D sidescroller offering adventure-style puzzles, exploration-driven platforming, and dangerous extraterrestrials, Exile's End is part Metroidvania and part "cinematic platformer," drawing heavy inspiration from classics of the genre like Out of This World and Flashback: The Quest for Identity. Boasting uniquely stylized animated cutscenes, multiple endings, and an atmospheric soundtrack by Keiji Yamagishi of Ninja Gaiden and Tecmo Super Bowl fame, players who take up Jameson's mantle will find themselves investigating a massive, interconnected alien world as they solve the mysteries of a dark, underground complex and experience a story filled with ancient riddles and modern-day hubris. Backed by Japanese publisher Marvelous Inc., Exile's End is a collaboration between Tokyo-based indie game developer Matt Fielding and many talented local industry veterans, and a partial remake of Fielding's first game, Inescapable, that significantly expands on its general ideas and themes.
Exile's End will be published digitally on the PlayStation®Store for PS4™ and "PSVita" as well as on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U™ later this summer. More information will be provided in the coming months.

Here is video E3 2015 action from an earlier build of the Shantae Half-Genie Hero game.

Oh yeah... a new Elusive Target has popped up. Your mission is simple, take him out, but... it's not going to be as simple as it sounds. Get in, remain undetected, complete the mission and get out of there. Good luck... RkRk, out! :p

The last target got away from me, but I take full responsibility. I disguised myself as a floral deliveryman and... it was looking great, made my way to the gate of the location and I thought it was going to be smooth sailing. Then... what had happened was... I forgot to drop my gun and other weapons, so they were like... still on me. So long story short, I received a pat down at the door, they found my weapons... I tried to fight my way into the property past the security outside but once I got up to the massive house, it was like an unpaid electric bill (lights out)!
