Baking Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes with an electric mixer.

4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition. You can do this step by hand or using an electric mixer at low speed.

6. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between them as they will spread while baking.

7. If desired, gently flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass or the palm of your hand. You can also leave them as balls for a thicker cookie.

8. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. Play a fun card game while they bake... Something Wild! The center of the cookies will still be slightly soft. Be careful not to over bake, as they will continue to firm up as they cool.

9. Remove the baking sheets from the oven and let the cookies cool for a couple of minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

10. Once cooled, you can decorate the cookies with icing, colored sprinkles, or any other toppings of your choice. Allow the icing to set before storing the cookies in an airtight container.

Enjoy your homemade sugar cookies, and please consider serving with slightly melted ice cream as a deliciously cool dip! SUGAR RUSH!!!!

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: It's about time we receive a beautiful 2D side scroller featuring BlazBlue characters!

It's about damn time that we received a Blazblue 2D platformer. It makes sense, they don't have to be stuck in an arena, open the world up and... send us on a kickass adventure! This is promising and has the potential of bleeding over into Blazblue fighting games. I can picture it now, remove the drawn-out cutscenes and let us reach the destination of battle in a certain mode. Arcade can remain arcade, and adventure can incorporate what we see here. I'll get my head out of the clouds though, because they don't need to be there with BlazBlue Entropy Effect... out now (in Early Access).

BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a brand-new action roguelike developed by a team with years of experience in action games, ready to present what they claim to be "the best 2D action combat experience the world has ever seen!"

According to the developers, each character has its own traits and hundreds of moves to choose from as you create your unique combos. The Legacy System makes each battle a unique experience. This is easy to confirm as truth because they're using the character moves from the BlazBlue universe.

Tactics come into play by way of you being able to select from eight different elements like lightning, fire, light, umbra, and more plus over 200 upgrades that you can utilize in various way to go nuts with your combos. My hands are twitching just thinking about it jumping into this Metroidvania-inspired game and its sandbox-style levels.

While the characters are familiar, BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a spin-off of the BlazBlue series. It has its own original storyline. By the way, you can snatch this game up for $19.99.

Brinks Commercial: Keyed Entry Lever & Deadbolt... Reviewed!

Quality: The Brinks Commercial: Keyed Entry Lever & Deadbolt combo delivers a commercial feel, this particular set has a Satin Chrome Finish. The weight and sturdiness, definitely spell quality to me. There is no wiggle when the product is installed, and the screws are covered by a plate so you don't have to worry about them working their way out on the lever. There are also internal screws for the deadbolt, in addition to those you see on the exterior.

Security: Security-wise, the inner workings like the anti-pry shield are solid in terms of security. All the pieces you see here work to prevent unwanted entry, and I say that to say... make sure to use all of the parts instead of finding the quickest way to install this product that leaves behind parts.

The Deadbolt is ANSI Grade 1 and the Lever is ANSI Grade 2.

As mentioned before, according to the ANSI Organization, they utilize an array of tests that represent attacks on the locks for the sake of trying to gain entry:

ANSI Grade 1 requires 10 blows from a ram in order to gain entry and it must be hit in a select area, while ANSI Grade 2 requires 5 blows at a minimum of 360 pounds. See more.

Installation: Speaking of the Installation, it isn't bad at all as long as you have the right tools for the job, and I'm sure it won't take the company handyman long to get it installed. The plate holes guide the screws.

By the way... for the door lever, don't fully screw in the latch part until you connect it to the center area of the door lever. Give yourself the wiggle room and it won't take you long at all to connect it to finish up the installation.

Price: Price-wise, you can get this Brinks Commercial heavy-duty commercial combo set for $72.98. By the way, did I mention that this combo comes with a 10-year limited warranty? So now that you have the scoop on this product, feel free to compare and contrast, but we hope that this review made the decision a lot easier for you.
