1More Stylish True Wireless In-Ear Headphones... Reviewed!

I love these headphones... and it's not because they're the 2019 iF Design Award Winner. :p

As you see... the 1More Stylish True Wireless In-Ear Headphones come in a variety of colors.
I went with Black this time around.

1More continues to maintain the tradition of showcasing the final art for their products inside of their packages... along side the product. I've seen this more than a few times, but I enjoy looking at these every time, because I get to see how they drew up each design.

Inside the box you get:
  • 3 additional pairs of ear tips (4 in total)
  • 1More Stylish True Wireless In-Ear Headphones
  • Charging case (I call the electric egg)
  • 2 additional pairs of O-Hooks (3 in total)
  • USB cord
  • Storage bag
  • 1More Sticker
  • Etc.

The sound surprised the crap out of me. I don't know what I was expecting, and I wasn't doubting them but the bass is what got me. I'm still tuning my ear to determine the best lows, mids, and highs... but at this time I haven't found any problems (unless i'm wearing the wrong sized ear tips... which make them sound a bit muffled).

Music sounds good, games, movies, ASMR, and podcasts sound good (as good as the recorded quality). I don't know any headphones able to fix horrible recordings... so I have to say that the sounds of some recordings were good. If it sounds bad, headphones able to amplify it will amplify it... and these headphones pick up those little sounds (i.e. someone taps the table).

Luca Bignardi did a good job. If you're new to these reviews, Luca is a Grammy winning sound engineer who tuned multiple 1More headphones (for a fully balanced and precise soundstage). If you want to hear something the way it was recorded... that's what proper tuning does (it doesn't compromise it).

Even with Luca on deck... it means nothing if the headphones don't have the right oomph to connect and deliver that quality sound.

The 1More Stylish True Wireless In-Ear Headphones has a Bluetooth chip with both aptX (Android) and AAC (iOS) for hi-res transmission technology + SBC (for those that need it).

These headphones have a titanium composite diaphragm with a 7mm dynamic driver for compact headphones. They get a low latency as a result of high speed signal transmission... so you can enjoy your visual content without it looking like an old school Kung Fu flick.

The LDS Antenna is what helps ensure a solid connection for music and calls by preventing less signal interference and transmission.

You get ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) technology... so that the person you're talking to can hear you in noisy places, and I can attest that it works for the most part. If i'm just surrounded by a slew of people talking loud, a phone call was not going to happen without a lot of "What was that?". When I'm not in a crowd of people, or i'm about 10 feet away... i'm able to complete my calls (even in a crowded convention center). I have no idea if it would go over well at a concert or not.

Sound quality in the phone calls were great for me + the caller... and I was wondering if it had something to do with the ear also helping the MEMS Microphone pick up my voice better. They share the same canals (the ear and mouth), so I was curious about that... since I have a deeper + lower tone of voice.

If you're wondering about the connection when it comes to distance away from the connected device, the sound quality was able to hold up well. I left my phone in the living room and made my way into my bedroom in the back area of my home without a break in the audio. I'm not sure of how many square feet away that is... but it remained connected. The wireless range is about 10meters.

The body of the 1More Stylish True Wireless Headphones is vacuum plated with a non-conductive vacuum metalizing (or NCVM) coating that won't conduct electricity. You may scratch your head and wonder what NCVM is... but its designed for things like these headphones and even cellphones so that electromagnetic signals are not interfered with. Check out a full breakdown here... if its something that fascinates you: https://www.model-solution.com/services/mock/ncvm

They feel sturdy, even though I wouldn't want to drop them from a great height. I have gone to sleep with them on... to enjoy the soothing sounds of ASMR and woke up to one laying on the hardwood floor in the morning (no cracks or anything). It still works... so you should be good with light accidental drops if they ever occur.

The multi-functional buttons feel good too, they aren't a loose click that can easily be pressed by mistake... but they're also placed in the right spot so that you can use your thumb and finger to make them do what they do.

The left button answers, hangs up, declines calls, and uses AI assistance like Google or Siri.

The right button plays, pauses, and switches to the next or previous track. I've used these buttons a lot and... they've worked without fail.

I figured these headphones would fit with the right ear tips, I just wasn't sure how well these would stay in my ears... but they actually stay. Recently I did some broadcasting work for a sports TV network and these arrived around that time... which gave me the opportunity to really test them day in and out. They did a stellar job and didn't fall out, no snags from a cord, but at the same time... there isn't a neck cord getting the occasional collar interference either so I really liked that. I was also able to use one at a time if I wanted... and if I were brave enough, someone else could use one while I use the other.

The right ear tips make all the difference, so make sure you have the right ones... because they don't annoy my ears (and my ears are sensitive). Before finding my ear tip size... I avoided in-ear headphones and even earbuds at all costs. I still have unused headphones laying around in boxes from the past.

The ear tips are made of silicon (along with the O-Hooks)... and the way they're angle gives it a good fit that's easy for me to use for a long period of time. An 8 hour day at the event only required 1 charge, and that charge was about 15 minutes for a full charge. It was quicker than that if I took them out to charge during breaks, but I think it took about 21 minutes for a full charge when they're completely dead. I can think of a few people with 30 minute lunch breaks who can benefit from that.

The 1More Stylish True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are priced at $99.99. This is a clean price, i'd value them at about $140 - $150... so $99 is a freaking steal. Apple fans are Apple fans, I have no beef with you guys and gals... but thei Airpods are $199 with the charging case, $159.99 with a charging case that you have to plug up in order to charge the Airpods, and $79.99 for the wireless charging case alone. That's $20 less than the 1More headphones along with its wireless charging case.

Overall, 1More aimed at quality... without going above and beyond on price. Money doesn't just magically appear in someone's pocket (if it does in yours, let me know where you bought your pants), so when the value is more than the price... I have to applaud that.

Other specs include:

True Wireless Bluetooth 5
Multiple pairing modes L & R switch over (you can use one or both and swap)
55 mAh for each Headphone Battery
410 mAh Case battery capacity
96h standby time for fully charged headphones
24h Totle battery life w/ charging case + headphones
You're able to fully charge your headphones 3 times between case charges
Gold-plated charging pin
Impedance 16

Spinning Wheel Brands: Snack Time... Reviewed!

I can't recall snack time being... reviewed before, but Spinning Wheel Brands dropped a supply of nom noms on us for just that very reason.

As you see here.. we were provided with Mozaicz Organic Popped Veggie & Potato Chips. That came in cheddar & salsa. The packaging says that they're made with organic olive oil, USDA Organic, and part of a Non GMO Project Verification program. I think this would definitely appeal to the foodies concerned about what's in their food. Even if its to get more information, doesn't hurt to be informed when looking for better snack time alternatives.

If I were looking for a better route to get my snack on... I wouldn't mind these (cheddar... more so). The package also shows that organic green peas are in these chips, as well as organic yellow peas, organic potatoes, and organic black beans. The cheddar ones have organic cheddar cheese according to the bag, and the salsa has organic tomatoes and organic tomatoes (according to the bag).

I can taste that they're healthier... but I wasn't turned off. I'm not a gigantic chip eater anyway (unless we're talking tortilla chips during nacho night), but these were okay to munch on.

These chips are also Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth

Certified Gluten-Free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization

Mozaics also supports The Chicago Mosaic School, which is a not-for-profit art school. I unconsciously gave the bag a thumbs up for that one (I just threw it up).

Taste 3.5 out of 5!

Hope & Sesame Organic SesameMilk was... a challenge. I'm soooo not a milk fan... at all. I can tolerate it with cereal, dipping cookies, PB&J and basically something to sip (a little of it) with the perfect match up, but... sesame milk is a no for me. I can do chocolate milk, and even plain white milk based on the conditions previously mentioned... but I couldn't do this. It wasn't a crazy taste, can't describe it... but I couldn't take more than a few sips. I guess I could taste the sesame... but... I don't want to taste sesame, so this is for the people willing to give it a go. I know someone who loves it... but that someone isn't me, so they're taking it off my hands. Enjoy!

For fans, and potential fans of this milk... the package showcases it as being Dairy Free, Soy Free, Gluten Free, and Tree Nut Free. SesameMilk is also Certified Organic, USDA Organic and it's also part of a Non GMO Project Verification program.

Something I didn't know about sesame milk is that its drought-tolerant. SesameMilk also lists that it has more Vitamin D than regular milk, no dairy allergens, or... lactose. That would be a benefit to me... its just... I don't know... it's not for me (it has to taste good to me). I do give it a thumbs up because the company supports cancer treatment research.

Taste 1.5 out of 5! (The .5 is for the contribution to cancer treatment research.)

I saved my personal favorite for last. Handfulls is awesome! As seen in the image here... the company sent two of the Crrrunch Bites! flavors and a Fusions flavor. The bbq almond tops the list, I almost ate the entire bag in one seating. They have a crunchy sweet flavor, super crunchy (they weren't playing about that).

My second is the hill country bbq blend. The pecans are maple bacon flavored, plus you get bbq CrrrunchBites almonds. I like the first one more because you get more of the almonds, but this is super good too.

The nacho flavor for me was okay, but the taste kinda sorta clashed with the almond to me. Like the other products... these are also Certified Gluten-Free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization.

Taste 5 out of 5 BBQ Almonds & Hill Country BBQ Blend!

Taste 3 out of 5 Nacho Almonds!

I think it's overall a great group of snacks for someone who really needs a healthier option and for those who don't need such. It might not seem like its a big deal, but... if you're having a get together... it would be awesome to have snacks that everyone can enjoy (some people have to be on edge about things like gluten). Not only that, the almonds are healthier alternative without tasting the part. I wouldn't think twice about buying a bag of these to munch on... and the brands give to those in need.

Mobile Edge Deluxe Rolling Duffel... Reviewed!

Going on a trip? This just might be the duffel bag for you!

As you see... there is the main area where you can stuff things into, but the additional compartments are the things that caught my eye.

If you can't tell... this is a big duffel bag (and I mean big), just keep that in mind... because this size is also evident in the other areas. To be specific, the product dimensions (W x H x D) 26" x 15.6" x 15". The side compartments are a wonderful size. I wear size 14 shoes, and I can put a pair in one of the compartments comfortably. I like that, because I don't have to place them in the main areas with my clothing.

How can I describe the side compartment size better? Hmmm... ah yes, lets say you had a book bag and cut the main compartment in half... that's basically the size of each side compartment (they sort of look like the top half of a bookbag too). When it comes to tech... I was able to stick a pair of PuroQuiet headphones in this compartment inside of their case, two Xbox controllers, and still had room to spare. Pretty sure I could fit four Xbox controllers (without cases) + two pairs of PuroQuiet headphones (in cases) in one side compartment... if I really wanted to. So I hope this helps you visualize the space (and you have two of these compartments).

The front side of the bag has a durable meshed zipper pocket for easy access, while the backside has a pocket... for your info card (may it never gets lost in transit, but that info card can hopefully get it back to you).

Underneath the main duffel area is a lockable zipper area. Nothing wrong with added security, and when you open it up... you see a huge mesh pocket. Its actually wider than the main duffel area.

This can fit a crap load of underwear.

This area also has straps to hold your clothing down, which is great for those traveling business men and women... like my friend, Cary. He's on a plane almost every week.

This is a durable duffel with a heavy canvas exterior. The inside of the bag looks like it has a layer of material to keep moisture out, and as you see the outside bottom of the duffel has something like a thick plastic-like material (not sure what it is) that should keep the contents from getting soaked if the bag lands in something. The bottom also has these jagged teeth to prevent it from sliding while laying down. The mesh pockets also feel durable, they aren't super stringy... they're of a thicker mesh.

Unlike duffel bags I've used in the past... this one not only has the carrying handle and the shoulder strap, it also has two smooth roller blade wheels so that you can pull it. They roll with no restrictions. The pulling handle for rolling is hidden away behind a zipped area (which keeps it clean)... and you just extend it when you're ready to roll. It also has a handle on the side of the bag on one of the side compartments... so if you didn't want to extend the other handle... you get that option too.

The shoulder strap is extendable, but also... this is a durable shoulder strap and pad (which is longer than my forearm).

The Deluxe Rolling Duffel is priced at $129.99... which feels about right. I'd price it between $120 to $150, even if alternatives with less compartments cost more... I just figure price tags are a bit more based on the brands. Did I forget to mention that the Mobile Edge Deluxe Rolling Duffel comes with a Lifetime warranty?

One thing I'd do with this bag is add more lockable zipper pulls to it... instead of just the bottom compartment. If this bag gets a revision, this should definitely be the goal. It might look crazy to have four locks on the duffel, but at least there would be an option for the added security. Also, if you might just want to lock up one specific area that isn't the bottom compartment.

Design wise... I would also remove two of the logo's and place it in one area only (maybe on the top side near one of the compartments... almost like some golf club bags since it kinda reminds me of that).

Overall, this is a nice duffel bag. It can replace a suitcase and a standard duffel. You get the ability to pull it with ease... and you don't have to worry about carrying it when you don't have to.
