Adventure Awaits in... Borderlands 4!

From Pandora to Erebus, the Borderlands legacy continues with fresh chaos!

It’s been a long, wild road for Vault Hunters everywhere. From the original Borderlands that redefined the looter-shooter genre, to Borderlands 2’s unforgettable villains and co-op chaos, to Borderlands 3 pushing the formula to new heights — the journey’s been nothing short of mayhem and fun! If you haven't played Borderlands 3, you can stream it free right now!

Now, Borderlands 4 is here… and it’s vault hunting time! Before we go any deeper, check this out — here’s a look at Borderlands 4 in action.

Explosions, loot drops, and pure chaos — just how we like it.

 A New Chapter of Chaos

Borderlands 4 takes the action to Erebus, a planet drenched in neon lights, mystery, and the kind of gunfights that you want to partake in with your favorite people.

The cel-shaded style we know and love shines brighter than ever under Unreal Engine 5, and the gameplay has leveled up across the board. You’ll run, wall-hop, grapple, and slide through explosive firefights while discovering weapons that literally adapt to your fighting style.

Whether you’re returning to the Borderlands universe or jumping in for the first time, Borderlands 4 hits that mix of humor, chaos, and fun.

Vault Hunter Life Never Looked (or Played) Better

The cast of Vault Hunters is stacked with new personalities and powers that encourage experimentation and creativity. Every skill tree feels more dynamic, every weapon more unpredictable — and with smarter enemies, you’ll actually need to strategize on the fly.

Oh, and that loot? It’s next-level. Adaptive modifiers, multi-element weapons, and gear that changes mid-fight mean no two sessions ever play the same.

 Crossplay and Mayhem with Friends

Whether or not Borderlands 4 is the “rebirth” you were hoping for, there’s adventure to be had. So grab a friend, family member, or that one buddy who swears they’re “done with shooters,” and dive into some crossplay mayhem across platforms.

Gearbox has made teaming up easier than ever — whether you’re on PC (Epic + Steam), PlayStation, or Xbox, everyone can join the madness together. Nintendo Switch 2 owners will join the part at the end of December 2025.

 How to Enable Crossplay

  1. Launch Borderlands 4 and head to the Main Menu.

  2. Select Options, then navigate to the Network & Social tab.

  3. Look for the Crossplay option and toggle it ON.

  4. You’ll be prompted to set up or sign in to your SHiFT account (if you haven’t already).

  5. Once connected, add your friends via SHiFT Friend Codes or link your accounts through the in-game social menu.

And that’s it — you’re ready to jump in, team up, and loot everything that’s not bolted down.

So whether you’re chasing epic gear, unraveling the secrets of Erebus, or just out to make things explode in the most creative ways possible… adventure truly awaits in Borderlands 4.

I’ll see ya out there, Vault Hunters. [Rides away on an eccentric giraffe that loves pineapples.]

Playstation State Of Play... September 2025 Recap!

On September 24, 2025, Sony delivered a compact but densely packed 35-minute State of Play showcase, spotlighting both bold new exclusives and surprise cross-platform announcements. Dive in!

The event kicked off with a deep dive into the speed running action adventure bullet hell experience, Saros, Housemarque’s next big PS5 title. For the first time, nearly five minutes of gameplay were shown: players saw protagonist Arjun Devraj wield a Soltari Shield (able to absorb and reflect projectiles), and transform absorbed energy into powerful weapons. The March 20, 2026 release date was revealed, cementing Saros as one of Sony’s most anticipated upcoming exclusives.

As the showcase unfolded, Marvel’s Wolverine made one of its most compelling appearances yet. Insomniac Games gave us a gameplay trailer filled with visceral combat, blood effects, and Logan’s signature ferocity. A Fall 2026 release window was confirmed, setting expectations high for one of the more mature entries in Sony’s lineup.

One of the biggest surprises came from Microsoft: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is coming to PS5 on December 8, 2025, and will include support for PS VR2. The decision to bring a major Xbox/PC franchise into the PlayStation ecosystem signals a shifting philosophy around platform exclusivity.

Sony also delivered several third-party and remaster updates to round out its showcase. Battlefield 6 received a campaign trailer and confirmation of its October 2025 release. A Deus Ex Remastered edition was unveiled with a February 2026 release.

Halloween: The Game returned with a gameplay reveal and 2026 launch date.

The sequel to Let It Die: Inferno, will launch December 2025. Other notable reveals included Nioh 3, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, Code Vein II, Last Epoch (Orobyss expansion), The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Crimson Desert, and a new title called Chronoscript: The Endless End.

Sony didn’t stop at software. The company revealed its first Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers, aimed at desktop and PS5 users alike, featuring ultra-low latency design. To mark God of War’s 20th anniversary, a special edition DualSense controller was also announced.

Overall, this State of Play struck a balance: bold first-party exclusives, surprising third-party moves, and smart hardware additions. While a few announcements may feel safe rather than revolutionary, the presence of Saros and Wolverine anchors the event—and Sony made clear that its creative and platform ambition is still very much alive.

Lost Soul Aside: The Viral Dream Project That Became a Global Release

Available for PC | PS5

Lost Soul Aside
isn’t just an action RPG—it’s a story that deserves to be told along with the game itself.

What began in 2014 as a solo project by self-taught developer Yang Bing evolved into one of the most anticipated action RPGs from an indie developer. When he first shared a trailer online in 2016, heads certainly turned in his direction. Viewers upon viewers were stunned that something resembling a AAA experience could be created by one person working alone. That viral moment changed everything, catching the attention of Sony Interactive Entertainment, who brought the project under their China Hero Project to help bring it to a global stage with the right support.

Now developed under Yang's Ultizero Games, Lost Soul Aside blends cinematic storytelling with lightning-fast, stylish combat—drawing inspiration from franchises like Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. Players take on the role of Kazer, a warrior bound to a mysterious dragon, as he battles through a war-torn world to rescue his sister. Every frame radiates the ambition that fueled the project’s origins.

At the heart of Lost Soul Aside is a combat system. Kazer’s movements are fluid, allowing players to chain together ground combos, aerial juggles, and cinematic finishers without breaking momentum. The mysterious dragon bound to him isn’t just a narrative device—it actively transforms in battle, shifting into weapons or unleashing devastating attacks that expand your tactical options.

The system encourages experimentation: you can dash in for rapid strikes, launch enemies skyward for extended combos, or call on your companion to interrupt and punish foes mid-attack. It’s a style-driven approach that feels like a hybrid of Devil May Cry’s combo freedom and Final Fantasy XV’s cinematic flair, giving players the tools to fight with both precision and spectacle.

The boss battles in Lost Soul Aside are where the game’s ambition truly shines. These aren’t just oversized enemies—they’re set-piece duels that test your mastery of the combat system. Each boss comes with unique attack patterns, environmental twists, and cinematic transitions that blur the line between gameplay and cutscene. I'm coming straight off a loss, but I held my own though. Rose petals were flying all over the place and I can't wait to dive back in.

One moment you’re dodging a flurry of colossal strikes, the next you’re countering with a perfectly timed combo that sends sparks flying across the battlefield. The scale of these fights makes every victory feel earned, and the synergy between Kazer and his dragon companion adds layers of strategy—forcing you to think about when to go all-in and when to hold back.

Boss battles aren’t just obstacles; they’re narrative milestones. Each one pushes the story forward, raising the stakes while showcasing the game’s blend of artistry and adrenaline.

It’s a modern legend of perseverance—a single developer’s dream that resonated with millions and grew into a full-fledged studio effort. The game’s creation reflects the same themes it portrays: determination, transformation, and the power of connection.

For many gamers, knowing that Lost Soul Aside began as one man’s vision makes every boss battle and cinematic moment feel more meaningful. It’s proof that in an industry dominated by giants, passion and creativity can still spark something awesome with what began as a party of one. If you feel compelled to create your own game, don't let a lack of a team stop you. Build your boat, set sail, and may you have a ship one of these days successful enough to employ a crew!
