Australia Did It Sets November 10 Steam Launch with 1,500+ Unit Combinations

Mystic Forge, game director Rami Ismail, and co-developers Aesthetician Labs and Dreams Uncorporated have announced that Australia Did It: End-of-the-World Railway Defense Business launches on November 10, 2026 for PC via Steam. A free demo is available ahead of release.

Protect the Cargo

A mysterious catastrophe has dried up the Atlantic Ocean, leaving a hostile seabed filled with monsters. Your job is to hire a mercenary crew and escort a cargo train across the wasteland, keeping the shipment intact as enemies attack along the route.

Planning happens at the station. Players position a limited number of defenders and fight through turn-based encounters before departure. Once the train is moving, on-rail autobattles put those decisions to the test against enemy hordes.

Merge Your Way to a Stronger Crew

The unit-merging system offers more than 1,500 combinations across over 30 unit types. Merging can produce stronger fighters or specialized units, encouraging experimentation with different synergies as the journey unfolds.

After a successful station, Reward Cards provide perks and boosts that further shape the crew. Finding a useful combination is only the first step; it still has to survive the next stretch of track.

Pixel art by Castpixel gives the dried-up Atlantic, unusual enemies and evolving mercenary roster their distinctive look.

Try the Demo Before Departure

Visit Australia Did It on Steam to download the free demo or wishlist the November 10 release. The new release-date trailer offers another look at its mixture of tactical station defense and automatic battles on the rails.

FTS: CRITICAL REFLEX TIME Reveals Free Games, New Demos and Console Release Plans

CRITICAL REFLEX TIME Reveals Free Games, New Demos and Console Release Plans

CRITICAL REFLEX TIME Reveals Free Games, New Demos and Console Release Plans

CRITICAL REFLEX TIME returned on October 20, 2026 with new games, playable demos and console announcements. Leading the lineup were the free Steam release of Cucina Stellata, the reveals of amFM and KEYKRUNCHER, and new demos for Pipes.exe, Drowned Lake and Tiny Chills – Not From Ear. The Grobnopolis | Last Days demo, featured below, was also part of the recap.

A Free Serving of Horror

Cucina Stellata is available free on Steam. Designed for a single sitting, the Italian-cooking horror game turns its culinary premise into an unsettling experience.

Newly announced amFM is a psychological RPG about shifting dimensions, entering minds and building machines while investigating a civilization-ending rainfall. KEYKRUNCHER takes a stranger approach to treatment: eating keyboards under escalating assessment targets while something waits outside. Both are headed to PC and Xbox Series X|S, and KEYKRUNCHER has a Steam demo.

New Demos to Try

  • Pipes.exe: co-op horror with Twitch integration that lets viewers add words to an in-game profanity filter.
  • Drowned Lake: found-footage survival horror investigating a missing amateur documentarian.
  • Tiny Chills – Not From Ear: an ear-cleaning sim mixing ASMR with a community’s disturbing secrets.
  • Grobnopolis | Last Days: two chapters as an apartment-block caretaker watching an oppressive world deteriorate.
  • Inkblood: three occult mysteries in its Steam Next Fest demo.

Console Dates and New Platforms

Mouthwashing reaches Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 29, with Xbox Game Pass included in the announcement. No, I’m not a Human is planned for Xbox, Game Pass, PS5 and Switch in 2027.

Arctic Eggs is out on Xbox Series X|S, with PS5 and Switch versions coming later. Buckshot Roulette is heading to PS5, PS4 and Switch (get it for $1.59 on PC for a limited time), while Inkblood adds Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and Switch to its PC plans for 2027.

Being and Becoming now targets 2027 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PS5 and Switch. Altered Alma adds Switch to its console plans, and SATED is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC alongside its PC release. SATED’s first demo is still described as coming soon, with Steam playtest sign-ups available.

FTS: NAUTUS Opens Its Steam Beta with Four-Player Underwater Co-op

NAUTUS Opens Its Steam Beta with Four-Player Underwater Co-op

NAUTUS Opens Its Steam Beta with Four-Player Underwater Co-op

Magic Design Studios, the team behind Have a Nice Death, and publisher Arc Games have opened the Steam beta for NAUTUS. Revealed during the October 15 Galaxies Showcase, the beta lets players explore its island-and-undersea adventure solo or with up to four players in online co-op.

Something Is Wrong at the Research Station

Arriving at the remote N.A.U.T.U.S. research station, players discover that its scientists have developed a mysterious fear of the ocean. That leaves the dangerous work to you and your crew.

Below the waves, an upgradable submarine provides a way to explore and confront mutant creatures. Back on land, players develop a tropical sanctuary base, meet the island’s unusual residents and prepare for further expeditions.

Life Above and Below the Water

The beta introduces the game’s two connected sides: developing a foothold on the surface and venturing into the depths. Different zones, quests and island NPCs give players an early look at the progression loop while the underlying mystery begins to unfold.

Its mix of cozy surroundings and unsettling discoveries gives the adventure a different tone from the studio’s previous roguelike. Players can investigate alone or coordinate with friends as a four-person crew.

How to Join

Visit the NAUTUS Steam page, find the playtest section and follow Steam’s prompts to request access and download the beta build. The developer’s announcement says testing is expected to continue until November 2.

This is an early testing opportunity, with the full game planned to enter Steam Early Access in 2027. Availability and the test schedule may change as development continues.

FTS: Sil and the Fading World Expands Its Free Demo with Assassin, Dunevault and Pets

Sil and the Fading World Expands Its Free Demo with Assassin, Dunevault and Pets

Sil and the Fading World Expands Its Free Demo with Assassin, Dunevault and Pets

Sil and the Fading World has expanded its free Steam demo for Next Fest. Arc Games confirmed the update is available as of October 19, 2026, adding the Assassin class, the Dunevault raid and a pet system to the solo-raiding action RPG.

A Bigger Demo to Explore

The update gives returning players more ways to build a character and more encounters to tackle. Alongside the Rogue Assassin and Dunevault, the demo introduces visual progression, a higher level cap, another row of talents and a reworked loot system.

Pets add another element to character customization, while the increased progression limits give players more room to experiment. The accompanying Assassin overview introduces the class for anyone deciding where to start.

Raid Bosses on Your Schedule

Sil and the Fading World takes inspiration from MMO raid encounters and action RPG character building, then puts the challenge in a solo format. Players face multi-phase bosses through third-person combat without organizing a group or waiting in a queue.

The broader game design includes nine class specializations, a skill tree with more than 200 nodes, over 100 unique items and randomized loot. These describe the game’s overall systems, rather than a promise that every option is unlocked in the current demo.

Relics and Soul Crystals let players draw on defeated bosses, while The Abyss offers increasingly difficult returns to conquered raids with greater rewards. Combat asks players to combine abilities, manage positioning and react to each encounter.

Play the Free Demo

Visit Sil and the Fading World on Steam to download the demo and follow development. If you tried an earlier build, the Next Fest update provides a new class and raid to explore.

FTS: Delve Survivors Brings Four Dungeons and Turn-Based Survival to Steam Next Fest

Delve Survivors Brings Four Dungeons and Turn-Based Survival to Steam Next Fest

Delve Survivors Brings Four Dungeons and Turn-Based Survival to Steam Next Fest

Developer iDiOSLAB and publisher NGJ Corporation are bringing an expanded Delve Survivors demo to Steam Next Fest, October 19–26, 2026. The dungeon-crawling RPG combines the enemy hordes and rapid character growth of survivors games with turn-based movement, giving players time to plan before making their next move.

The Monsters Move When You Do

Enemies act only when the player acts. Positioning, skill combinations and equipment choices take priority over reflexes, but standing still is not the whole solution: players must reach the depths of each dungeon within a limited number of turns.

Instead of remaining in one arena until a survival timer expires, adventurers explore randomized dungeons, collect loot and face enemies with different behaviors. Gear carried between dungeons supports longer-term character growth alongside the faster progression within each run.

What Is in the Demo?

  • Four dungeons with different environments, enemies and bosses.
  • Three classes: Warrior, Archer and Magi.
  • Hundreds of items and combinations of weapons, armor, accessories and skills.
  • Casual Mode, permadeath-focused HardCore Mode, and Casual Rogue Mode, where equipment is at risk.
  • Mouse, keyboard and controller support, plus online leaderboards.

The team estimates more than an hour of demo content for the average player, with replay opportunities through different classes and builds. A challenging late-game dungeon called Hellgate is also planned for later during Next Fest.

Try It During Next Fest

The extra demo dungeons are available specifically during the October 19–26 event. Download the demo or wishlist the game on Steam. The announcement gives a tentative November PC release target, followed by Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in Q1 2027; those windows remain subject to change.

Drova II: Torn Lands Revealed with New Factions and Expanded Combat

Just2D and Deck13 have revealed Drova II: Torn Lands, a new action RPG that returns to a world shaped by opposing beliefs and dangerous exploration. The announcement targets a 2027 release for PC and consoles, with specific console platforms still to be confirmed.

A World Divided

The fog has lifted, but the land has not become a peaceful place. A ravine divides the world, while followers of the Bear Mother and the Great Ram offer different paths through its conflicts. Players will encounter these factions as they discover the people, dangers and secrets of the torn lands.

Explore on Your Own Terms

The sequel continues the emphasis on finding your own way without quest markers directing every step. Its world is planned to be slightly larger than the original, with exploration and attention to the environment helping players decide where to go next.

Expanded combat will accompany the new setting and factions. The announcement points toward a broader set of possibilities for encounters while retaining the action RPG foundation of Drova.

Wishlist the Adventure

Drova II: Torn Lands can be wishlisted on Steam and GOG. The publisher’s announcement lists 2027 as the release target; a precise launch date and the console lineup have not yet been announced.
