PARIS – Oct. 1, 2026 – Focus Entertainment Publishing and Afterburner Studios are excited to announce that Elta: Defy All Gods, revealed this summer at Opening Night Live, will release on February 2, 2027, on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. To let everyone get a first-hand experience of the adrenaline-fueled action-platformer, a free demo is available now on all platforms. The full game will be priced at $29.99 and is available for pre-order starting today.
Master explosive combat and fluid platforming in the free demo
Starting today, players can experience the beginning of Elta: Defy All Gods in a free demo available on all platforms, including PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In this 45 to 60-minute experience, you'll get to play as Victus, a warrior monk tasked with finding their lost dragon-god and embarking on a journey featuring intense martial arts, tight platforming and sci-fi exploration. These first steps will lead players to their first boss encounter, Kan Loa’s Chosen, in an epic showdown.
Pre-orders are now live for the game, with a $29.99 price point
With a commitment to respecting players’ time and money in a market of rising game prices, Elta: Defy All Gods will be priced at $29.99, offering a total playtime of 15-20 hours.
“We’re thrilled to bring this demo to players on all platforms so everyone can get a hands-on taste of our game,” said Ian Cofino, Co-Founder & Game Director at Afterburner Studios. “This project is incredibly close to our hearts, and we hope this free preview, paired with an accessible price point, will inspire players to jump in and continue the journey with us.”
All players who pre-order will receive the Vanguard Armor DLC, a special cosmetic skin for the main character, as a bonus for purchasing the game early. Worn during the Empyreal War, this alternate ceremonial armor was designed to strike fear into opposing forces.
