Street Fighter V: Standard Edition?... (Sigh) + From the Source: Nintendo + PAX East 2015 + Net Neutrality... victory!

Street Fighter V: Standard Edition? If I made games, I wouldn't have... standard or any of that crap in my games, extra would just be extra to build on to an already great game (after the fact that it has been completed).

I don't know if Capcom will end up being burned by something like this... after the previous round of fighting games resulted in a what felt like nothing more than a senseless money grab, but we shall see. What may end up happening is... some of the audience may just end up waiting until the best version is released with nothing else to buy (at an additional charge). It will probably be a full game for a full price... but with this version, they should really have a progressive story... not just a character fighting other fighters to get to a boss and... then the story ends there basically saying... "Hey thanks for playing, lets do it again in the next installment that will look better... with the exact same formula". I'd like to feel the story go somewhere other than... that, especially with RYU, because the same approach gets tiresome and you aren't missing anything if you skip a version. Street Fighter Alpha 3 was something special, there was a lot to it... and that was the first time I was ever able to enjoy a fighting game with actual co-op action.

I don't like to assume what a game is... but I will say that Street Fighter V looks like... Street Fighter 4 with updated visuals. Does that make it bad? Hell no, we just hope that it... proves to be a true successor to Street Fighter 4. Charlie Nash is a nice teaser... and a character that plenty will welcome back, and I hope that the slogan "Rise Up" is truly something that is seen in the game. A ranking system in the actual story would help with the progressive feel, I don't want to fight rivals over and over... I want there to be surprises based on where I am in my skill level, and they have the ability to make that happen with such a huge money making franchise.

PAX East 2015
REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nintendo will be in Boston, Massachusetts, for the upcoming PAX East event to give attendees hands-on time with the New Nintendo 3DS XL system and a variety of great games. The Nintendo booth (#4072) will also feature Splatoon, Nintendo’s upcoming colorful twist on the shooter genre, at the show. The E3 2014 build of the game lets eight players transform into squids and mark their territory in teams in a race for splattered-paint dominance. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., which launches for Nintendo 3DS on March 13, will also be playable and featured in stage presentations at the Nintendo booth. PAX East, which runs March 6-8, takes place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center at 415 Summer St.
“We love giving our fans an opportunity to check out our latest products at PAX events,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “The newly released New Nintendo 3DS XL is sure to be popular with the many show-goers looking for StreetPass tags, and Splatoon will let attendees get their first hands-on experience with one of the year’s most creative games.”
Upcoming or newly released Nintendo 3DS games scheduled to be playable on New Nintendo 3DS XL hardware at the Nintendo booth include Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., Monster Hunter 4 UltimateThe Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and the New Nintendo 3DS XL exclusive, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Nintendo also invites attendees to bring their trained-up amiibo figures to the show to take on other players’ amiibo in the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS game. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition for Nintendo 3DS is scheduled to make an appearance at the Nintendo booth as well. The developer, GungHo Online Entertainment, will also have its own booth at PAX (#8092), where attendees can try Puzzle & Dragons Z and Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition for Nintendo 3DS.

Be happy about this victory, and check out the email sent from MoveOn.org below. We are still on guard, because greed has a way of being... a stubborn little bastard about getting its way over something that affects more people than itself. Nintendo-Demand looks at these pricks and responds with "That's a personal problem"... but that doesn't mean we can just sit back and relax knowing that they will stop at nothing to increase their wealth at the cost of affecting the masses, and neither should you. You don't have to be in a constant battle mode, but don't sit back and relax because of one victory... that's a very easy way to go from winning a battle to losing the overall war.
Use this victory as motivation though. BFG feels that many people should use this as a prime example that anything can be done by the people... for the benefit of the people, and it's something that should be done to tackle other serious issues that may not affect everyone but it affects enough to matter to people with compassion.
BFG also brings up a good point... based on a past post, because Net Neutrality can still be affected on the other side of things by people that support it to do crap like hacking, and other things like plotting to hurt people because of what they believe in, their sexual preference, etc. It doesn't have to be like that though... because Net Neutrality doesn't x out laws against illegal activity, the people in the middle of both of these extremes (between Control & Etc) have to beware of both to truly keep things moving upward versus down at a right or left slope that benefits one of the bad extremes. Thumbs up Mr. President Obama from standing behind this, because a business gaining money... cannot, and should NEVER EVER (x Infinity) be the thing that overrides something that benefits the masses.
MoveOn.org:
This card is for you, too—the MoveOn community that for a decade has fought for common sense and equality on the Internet.
So here's what just happened: In a party-line vote, the FCC voted to use the simplest, clearest, most legally sound tool to preserve Net Neutrality. It's called Title II, and it allows the FCC to treat the Internet like a public utility, protecting it for all users.
Experts have long agreed that Title II reclassification is the commonsense way to go, but the extreme opposition of the wealthy telecom industry—who hoped to profit from charging for fast lanes—made the clear solution seem politically impossible to many even a year ago.
But grassroots leaders raised their voices for the commonsense solution and built a movement that brought together millions of Americans of all political stripes and proved too powerful for even the seemingly all-powerful telecom lobby.
