Discover the Untold Story of the KINGDOM HEARTS Series’ Greatest Villain

LOS ANGELES (June 22, 2020) – SQUARE ENIX® and Disney announced today that KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road, a new original story and unique gameplay experience within the hit mobile game KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ Dark Road, is now available to all players as a free update. KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road expands on the epic mobile adventure and brings players to an early chapter of the KINGDOM HEARTS series, following the mysterious teenaged Xehanort on his path to become the Seeker of Darkness.

KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road features easy-to-learn, card-based gameplay, optimized for touch-based controls on mobile devices. Together with a teenage Xehanort, a young Master Eraqus, and a cast of newly introduced Keyblade Wielders, players will travel through familiar Disney worlds to defeat Heartless and uncover the mysteries surrounding Xehanort’s past.

SQUARE ENIX and Disney also recently announced that KINGDOM HEARTS fan looking for more adventures can look forward to KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory, an immersive musical journey filled with memorable Disney and KINGDOM HEARTS songs, worlds and characters, that will be coming to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One family of devices and Nintendo Switch™ system later this year.

FTS: Final Fantasy & Life is Strange Headline Square Enix's PAX West 2019 Lineup

LOS ANGELES (Aug. 26, 2019) - Developer panels, fan activities and giveaways will be among the many offerings from SQUARE ENIX® at this year’s PAX West 2019, held at the Washington State Convention Center from August 30 – September 2. Midgar comes to life in Booth #2335 with several familiar sights from Sector 1, including a re-creation of the train station and a stunning Mako reactor that looms over the show floor, and houses gameplay demos of FINAL FANTASY® VII REMAKE. Square Enix also invites fans to experience current and upcoming games at Booth #2141, including FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers™, FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered, Trials of Mana™ and more. Fans can also hop on Cloud’s iconic Hardy Daytona motorcycle from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE for photo ops and take part in a variety of other fun activities at PAX.

• Attempt to beat Titania in the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers Titania battle challenge. Those who can best the ruler of the pixies will earn an “I Beat Titania” t-shirt.

This special challenge, designed for new players, will reward participants with a free copy of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Starter Edition to take home and continue their adventures with their friends.

Creating FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers - Narrative and Visual Insights

The newly released third expansion for FINAL FANTASY XIV, Shadowbringers, introduced players to a whole new world—quite literally—as they ventured through the most compelling chapter in the MMO’s story yet. Join art team lead Takeo Suzuki and main scenario writer Natsuko Ishikawa as they look back at how the unforgettable setting and narrative of Shadowbringers came to be. Additionally, two signing sessions with the panelists will be held on Sunday, September 1 at 11:00am PT and 4:30pm PT at the Seattle Sheraton. Fans can have a chance to receive tickets to these sessions either by participating in the Titania battle challenge at the Square Enix booth on Friday and Saturday, or by attending the Sunday panel. No Warrior of Darkness will want to miss this glimpse behind the scenes, but those who have not yet taken up the mantle of shadow be warned: spoilers abound!

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 18, 2019) – Ahead of the launch of the highly anticipated video game KINGDOM HEARTS III, the game’s original track “Face My Fears,” by internationally renowned singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada and eight-time Grammy® Award-winning Skrillex, is available today.  

“Face My Fears” is the soundtrack to the game’s opening movie, which sets up players for the events to come in KINGDOM HEARTS III as the ultimate battle for light and life comes to an epic conclusion. With the help of his loyal companions Donald and Goofy, Sora will team up with iconic Disney and Pixar characters in an attempt to defeat the darkness and save the universe.

KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra – World Tour – Premiere In Los Angeles & New York

First-Ever, Official Concert World Tour of the Multi-Million Selling Video Game Series

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – May 31, 2017 – After unforgettable premiere concerts in Tokyo, Paris and London last March, KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra – World Tour – is coming to the U.S. with shows in Los Angeles on June 10, 11, and 14 at the Dolby Theatre and New York on June 23 and 24 at the United Palace Theatre.

Fans and music lovers alike will soon be able to enjoy the first-ever official concert of the KINGDOM HEARTS video game series.  From the music to the HD video and syncing, the show will feature a selection of the saga’s best and most beloved music from the original soundtrack. The concert features more than 100 orchestral musicians and choir singers on stage, with amazing HD video cinematics supervised by director Tetsuya Nomura.   Additionally, the tour celebrates the 15th anniversary of the multi-million selling video game series and the upcoming release of its latest episode.

Exclusive Scenario Content

Entirely supervised by game director Tetsuya Nomura himself, this concert series is considered part of the KINGDOM HEARTS universe and will feature some content and stories. Voice actors Risa Uchida (Kairi / Xion) and Megumi Toyoguchi (Aqua) have recorded three short voice sequences featured specially in the concert.

Each show will feature music composer Yoko Shimomura as a special guest. She will appear on stage, and 150 VIP tickets are available for each show to meet and greet with her after the performance (one signature and one photo per person).
