Are you ready for... Star Wars Outlaws?

Have you seen the trailer for Star Wars Outlaws? It's one of those games that I'm waiting for with bated breath. And as a lover of open-world adventures done right, the idea of exploring the Star Wars universe in a way its supposed to be set up is giving me goosebumps (fingers crossed). Blu is still hopeful for a co-op adventure with Star Wars Bad Batch, but perhaps that's next up. Anyway, check out the trailer for Star Wars Outlaws:

Now, let's talk editions. They have your standard version, of course, but you also have the limited and gold editions. The Limited Edition comes with the Rogue Infiltrator Character Pack, which includes ultra-cool cosmetic items for Kay and Nix. And the Gold Edition? It gets you access up to three days early, as well as the base game and the season pass. It better have some damn good stuff for the $109.99 price tag. This is something that hung up some gamers, while others are on something else right now because the main character is a woman. The previous Star Wars game featured a man, but something tells me everythings going to be just fine.

Get ready to explore a galaxy far far away that's full of opportunity. Dive into bustling cities and cantinas, and race across sprawling outdoor landscapes on your speeder. Each location holds new adventures, exciting challenges, and rewards that are totally tempting, if you're willing to take the risk.

You get to experience a totally original scoundrel story, living that high-stakes outlaw lifestyle. With Nix by your side, there's nothing you can't turn to your advantage. Fight with your blaster, outsmart your enemies with gadgets and stealth, or use the right moments to distract your attackers and take the upper hand.

Take on those high-risk, high-reward tasks from the galaxy's most notorious crime syndicates. Steal precious goods, infiltrate top-secret locations, and outwit your enemies, all while becoming the galaxy's most wanted. Every choice you make changes your ever-evolving reputation.

Are you ready to take to the stars? Buckle up and get behind the pilot seat of the Trailblazer, because we're about to engage in thrilling dogfights with the Empire and other foes. Chase, evade, and attack your enemies to get the upper hand.

So, what are you waiting for? Mark your calendars for August 30th, 2024, and get ready to jump aboard Star Wars Outlaws when it lands on PC, Playstation, and Xbox!

Disney is now an equity stakeholder in Epic Games... Oh Hell!

The idea that Disney's coughed up a whopping $1.5 billion to snag a piece of Epic Games is freaking some of us out, and yeah, I'm on that train. We're curious about this epic (pun intended) mash-up with Fortnite, but aren't just gonna ignore the potential mess Disney could make, like they did with Marvel.

Sure, GamesIndustry.biz says Epic's head honcho Tim Sweeney is still the big kahuna with majority control, but seriously, why in the hell does Disney gotta get all grabby with Epic? They could’ve played nice with Unreal Engine from a third-party approach and did collabs. And Blu's out here worrying about a possible the possible future where Disney might start calling the shots too.

If you ask me, this whole deal needs a big fat escape button. Y'know, something that says, "If Disney pulls a Disney and starts messing up our game, we're out." Because let's face it, nobody wants to see their gaming sanctuary go the way of the dodo just because Disney decides they want everything to sing and dance to their tune.

According to ScreenRant's Felipe Rangel, the game Disney CEO admitted that the Disney+ creation led to Marvel "losing focus". I don't want that to happen to with Epic. Maybe it will work out great, but if not, I'll save some energy to go off at a later time. I should be optimistic, and I'm curious about the Disney Universe but I don't know. Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever... Reviewed!

Story: Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever is a film about Greg Heffley's holiday adventure involving him and his best friend Rowley doing a bad bad thing and fearing that this will bring Christmas crashing down on him as others get closer and closer to the truth of finding out who the actual culprits were who damaged a snow plowing truck. This set off a crazy chain of events as Greg went on a mission to cover up what he did and still walk away with a win on Christmas. What's the win? Well, it's a new game system, unless he's exposed for being naughty. This film is rated PG, so basically if you're familiar with the franchise and you let your children watch Home Alone films, you might not find an issue with this installment either.

Visuals: Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever is visually appealing, and I enjoyed the animated action from beginning to end. They took the traditional diary of a wimpy kid art style and maintained it in 3D without making the characters look weird. You're going to see various angles in this 4K Ultra HD film, from the worm's eye view looking up at the top of the basement stairs, to the bird's eye view of Rowley looking down at Greg wondering what the heck he was doing outside of his window. There were some pretty cool angles mixed in during this adventure.

Audio: Audio-wise, this film features Dolby Atmos in 5.1... so crank up the surround sound to a tolerable level to immerse yourself and enjoy this family-focused Christmas comedy. The sound is clean, and they deliver the music and sound effects at the right times to boost the immersive experience. Revealing Alfrendo is a great example. There was background music, but it amps up a bit for effect.

Price: Pricewise, you aren't paying a thing for this film outside of your Disney Plus subscription. That includes this movie + other shows and movies, so that's a win-win.

Overall, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever is a must-watch for anyone who loves a good holiday adventure. It's a heartwarming film that will leave you feeling happy and satisfied. So, grab a bowl of popcorn, snuggle up on the couch, and get ready for a fun-filled ride!
