Use hero-summoning strategies to defeat an ancient threat in a brand-new Fire Emblem™ game
In a war against the Fell Dragon, four kingdoms worked together with heroes from other worlds to seal away this great evil. One-thousand years later, this seal has weakened and the Fell Dragon is about to reawaken. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and robust customization to meet your destiny—to collect Emblem Rings and bring peace back to the Continent of Elyos.
Team up with iconic heroes from past Fire Emblem games
Summon valiant heroes like Marth and Celica with the power of Emblem Rings and add their power to yours in this brand-new Fire Emblem story. Aside from merging appearances, Engaging lets you inherit weapons, skills, and more from these battle-tested legends. The turn-based, tactical battle system returns with a fresh cast of characters you can customize and Engage to carefully craft your strategy.
Join Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters in epic, real-time battles across Fódlan
Step into the shoes of Shez, as they meet Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, and other Fire Emblem™: Three Houses characters as you fight for the future of Fódlan. Align with a leader to build and command an army in 1 vs. 1,000-style battles and deep strategy. The house you choose will bring you through one of three compelling stories, each with a different outcome. Each Fire Emblem: Three Houses character you recruit on these journeys has a distinct set of flashy combos and powerful specials that can cut through hordes of enemies.
Use the strategy of Fire Emblem to gain the tactical advantage in Warriors-style gameplay
Dive into real-time battles as you and your army of Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters take on hundreds of opponents, while using elements from Fire Emblem to maximize your strategy. Issue commands to your army in the midst of the chaos of battle to achieve missions and objectives. Plan ahead and prepare for battle by equipping weapons, skills, and classes that capitalize on opponent weaknesses. Assign elements from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, like crests or battalions, to characters to further hone how you plan your approach.
Strengthen your bonds in and out of battle
Develop and build battle-tested relationships with other Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters as you fight for the future of Fódlan. Deepen the relationships between characters to give yourself a tactical advantage on the battlefield and to see them open up in support conversations. Bring characters closer together by pairing them up in battle or by spending time together at base camp. Develop your base camp and train, shop, and prepare each of your team members before jumping into the heat of battle.
The game that brought together the worlds of Fire Emblem™ and ATLUS is coming to the Nintendo Switch™ system in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore! An interdimensional evil has invaded modern-day Tokyo, resulting in this fantastical barrage of music, style, and yes, danger. So, fight back! Battle through dungeons to pump up your strategy and creatively decimate your foes…before all hope fades to black.
Fire Emblem Heroes is here... and I've been playing since Nintendo gave us the news.
I have a question for @Nintendo though: Can we get a new Advanced Wars for mobile?
The good thing about Nintendo's wealth of intellectual properties... is that they can take various routes with mobile and it wouldn't make a dent in a Nintendo console's catalog (I just hope they make use of developers outside of Nintendo also... which increases variety in the Nintendo games and opportunity for the smaller devs too).
Fire Emblem Heroes– Nintendo’s hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series is now reimagined for smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go gameplay. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes’ skills and take them to new heights. This is your adventure – a Fire Emblem that’s like nothing you’ve seen before! Available today on App Store and Google Play, this application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases.

If you wanted to get your hands on a Nintendo 2DS... now seems like a good time. Though its a good price drop, it should've been a similar price point from launch (in my opinion). It feels more like Nintendo novelty, even if its geared towards kids so that they don't have the option to use the 3D feature (and that's good... it is) but like everyone (even Toy R Us kids)... they will get older and probably want that 3D feature like we have. There was also enough room on this thing for a second circle pad or at least a c-stick, but I will leave that alone... I just hope that Nintendo's next handheld can deliver with fewer revisions or no revisions at all (maybe even make the thing customizable with optional analog stick screw in's, etc.). I'd like the next Nintendo handheld to have a premium feel to it, something like the Xbox One's pro controller quality.
Anyway... back to the 2DS. If that's all the parents could afford, then the kids are S.O.L. (sure outta luck), but there could've simply been another option like a parental lock of the feature in the New Nintendo 3DS. That would've spared resources possibly even to the degree of releasing that handheld at a lower price and making the shift to upgrade a bit more realistic for some gamers who can't play certain games ONLY available for the... New Nintendo 3DS (which is still a major "WTF").
On the plus side you get... Mario Kart 7 thrown in, which has replay value out the tailpipe! So if you'd rather you or your child to have a 2DS or its just the best price option to get access to a really good library of games... enjoy the crap out of it! (Ka-Boom!)

Yesterday our bubble was popped... because Nintendo's update included that there will be no Nintendo NX action at E3. If they are going to skip one of the biggest gaming expos... there better be a good reason and they'd better come out with guns blazing for will be presented.
When it comes to the NX itself, its coming March of 2017... which is cool and we have something to look forward to beyond E3 2016 by way of Nintendo Direct... but they have to seriously think about their approach this time around. If they desire those PS4 numbers, the system is going to have to be awesome and centered around gaming for all. It was centered around gaming for people of all ages... but it was hard to tell based on the delivery a good chunk of the time (as well as placing multiple games in a category listed as "Games for Kids" or some crap... if you're a frequent reader of our posts then this should ring a bell because it was an annoying "WTF" moment).
I don't want to see any company fail, especially if it means more options for us as gamers... so I wish them the best in hopes that they play their Pokemon cards right! :p
On the flip side of the NX not being at E3 this year, I can see that being something done to avoid the system being picked apart in a negative way without them explaining it well on their on terms (they just have to explain themselves well... because they hold the cards). Also I could see them trying to get the remaining life out of the Wii U before the focus shifts.
From what we know, The Legend of Zelda will be released simultaneously for the Wii U and NX game systems... and will be one of the only (if not the only) game Nintendo showcases at E3 this year based the information provided. The Wii U version will be playable. Check out the information from Nintendo below.
Nintendo changes its approach to the show every year. This June, Nintendo will focus its attentions on the upcoming game in The Legend of Zelda franchise. The Wii U version of the game will be playable for the first time on the E3 show floor, and it will be the only playable game Nintendo presents at the show, in order to provide attendees a complete immersion. Additional information about Nintendo’s E3 plans will be announced in the future. - Nintendo | REDMOND, Wash., April 27, 2016
Though we'd love to see more... as long as the attention is going towards good things, its fine with me and almost feels like something 3rd party developers do. 3rd party developers don't always show up at E3 with multiple games to play... some only have one in hopes that it gets enough love to be successful. Let's see how this goes.
By the way, Nintendo is also celebrating over 10 million downloads of Miitomo starting tomorrow April 29th - May 8, 2016. While I am on the subject of... Miitomo, something i'd love for Nintendo to do is to allow us to connect with people through Google+ also (the app is on Android, so... it kind of makes sense). Even the ability to connect with your phone book would be cool because you're using the app on your phone, but that's just me and multiple people who are still wondering around digitally with no one to talk to.
Nintendo didn't only drop that bit of news... they lit things back up with the mention of their next mobile apps, which are for Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing. The plan is for a fall release on both of these games. They want to make Fire Emblem more accessible by delivering a mobile experience, while Animal Crossing sounds like it will allow you to play on mobile and console. Nintendo will obviously deliver more info about these apps as fall approaches, but they could be planning even more apps moving forward as they aim to have multiple types of "...apps that appeal to different audiences and different groups of players". I hope this translates over to the NX.
Fun fact: Did you know that Nintendo of America owns a percentage of the Seattle Mariners? Although yesterday they mentioned that they are selling the majority, they are maintaining 10%.
I'll end this post with some StarFox Zero animated short action... and if you remember the previous games (especially Star Fox 64), you'll probably enjoy SFZ. Its a blast from the past... but its new at the same time. An all-new Star Fox adventure should be released on the NX going even deeper in depth with visuals, story and action.
Today is the day for... Pokemon Direct + eShop Action? Enjoy... Poke-MANIA!
