"a stunningly modern boomer-shooter with fluid gameplay and glorious sprite art."
- Focus Entertainment
I'm excited for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun because it takes me back to the retro shooters of my childhood. I grew up playing Doom, and I'm excited to see a new Warhammer adventure that takes the pixelized look and first-person shooter action and transplants it into the iconic Warhammer universe. I think this was a really smart move to make because of one of the topics discussed at SDGT, which is about game developers pushing gamers out with high specs. My fingers are crossed that the specs make sense and allow for as many people as possible to actually play the game, but the system requirements have yet to be announced. If the specs make sense, I wish Auroch Digital and Focus Entertainment all the best because it gives the majority of gamers who like shooters the ability to play this game without a concern of whether their system is compatible. I love that they brought this to life, and I can't wait to play it.
