The PS4... Pro, is (hmmm)... the system that should've been... beforehand (vs a system... revision). I bring this up due to the mentioning of the "PS4 Pro Launch Lineup" from developers... like its the PS5 or something. That totally sounds like i'm hating but... i'm not, its the revision of an existing console (which is great).
While some of you agree that the pro specs should've existed in the original and others... not so much, that isn't the only system revision to ever exist (by a long shot). Xbox One has a revision, the 3DS had a revision... and even systems of the past with power upgrades (in the form of add-on). There was going to be an SNES-CD (i'm glad there wasn't because we have the awesomeness that is the Playstation... but anyway), there was a SEGA CD... as well as a SEGA 32X, Atari Jaguar CD and... the list goes on (i.e. Gameboy Color).
The PS4 & Xbox One were rushed (and many others feel the same way), but the tech is coming in rapidly so they chose up on something that they weren't satisfied with to complete the first few laps... and its time to catch that second wind with the revised systems and take off to a new level (even though that level was expected from the start).

I will leave this topic alone by saying this... in the case of the PS4: It would've saved money in my opinion to just give the gamers the goods from the jump, but they may have missed the ship that led to them kicking butt in unit sales by waiting for the next available tech. It's hard to determine what way that would've went, but Microsoft wasn't even a problem at that time... competition wise... because they were still trying to pull the arrow out of their knee.
I feel that Microsoft is still at though. I feel that they've revised the BS so that its a bit more covert and its coming by way of Windows 10 in a way to possibly monopolize the PC gaming market. I hope that's just paranoia, but if they do... that would not be a move of a company that cares about gamers over... the control of the gamer's options. I don't think Tim Sweeney is talking out of his butt when it comes to sabotage... and there will be backlash that could affect their Microsoft in a massive way. Why?
There are kids that play the Xbox and PC Games, but there are a lot of adults that own Xbox consoles and PCs' that game heavy. The kids aren't the ones with the jobs usually and... if the buyers (more so than those simply labeled as gamers) walk away, so does the money. They'd better think about that and if anything... just leave that button alone.

I have to go in on SONY on another note (while still discussing the PS4 Pro... but on a different note), because there may be a charge for patches for previous games. My response to that possibility is that there better not be, because there is already a damn revision of the system, support of buying the revised console in addition to that, buying the initial games that usually come with patches as a norm... but talks of there being patches that come at an additional price? Hell to the no.Some of you are familiar with EA's patches that increase the visual quality of some games (specifically in games like Battlefield 3). Those didn't come at an additional price, appreciate the money that's being received and do something that causes hesitation... because then that slows the momentum down if the buyer has to go back to the budget and consider what games to buy from their wishlist due to the additional costs. You see where i'm going with this? Leave that alone and just appreciate the support, the PS4 Pro would be purchased under the assumption that visual patches are free. If the developer wants to do so... that could be up to them and it could result in increased sales while the others that choose not to take that step, wouldn't be able to list that as something available in their title.

One of the games coming around the bend for the PS4 Pro is Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Square-Enix & Eidos Montreal announced that it will be available November 10th along side the pro. David Anfossi (Head of Studio at Eidos-Montreal) said...

I mention this not only because the game will be one of the games that will step up the visuals for the PS4, but... they don't mention anything about that coming at an additional cost (which is good). So fingers are crossed.
