As an Official Brand Ambassador, I have to end the year with the new Arm & Hammer Disinfectant Wipes. If you're familiar with the post about the Arm & Hammer Fruit & Vegetable Wash... I said that it gave me solace that it took away any potential viruses off of my fruit and veggies. So to see the disinfectant wipes, I was like... oh heck yeah.
I have these in the office, but I got more for my household and a container for the vehicle... since I like to clean items before I bring them in the home. That just increases my peace of mind, plus there are more in the container at a good price without the concern of there being harsh chemicals.
Here is are the ingredients, which you're welcome to compare with your current products. I respect the fact that they use citrus-based disinfectant and that the provided info on the ingredients is compliant with the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017 + the New York State Household Cleansing Product Information Disclosure Program.
Here are the ingredients for the Lemon Orchard scented option:
Here are the ingredients for the Renewing Rain scented option:
Things I appreciate about the product are the ingredients of course because I don't want to handle things with a potential virus that may result in us getting sick... but also... I don't want to have chemicals on my hands after wiping something while on the go (i.e. a beverage) and then I eat something with that on my hands. The same thing applies when I'm gaming, sometimes I eat when I game... which is like 9 out of 10 times, and I'd rather handle a clean controller while getting my grub on in between the action.
I don't know if they do anything under those circumstances once our hands are dry, but... if I don't even have to deal with that, I'd rather not. Outside of the ingredients I like the price and the amount that comes in the container. The wipes are durable, so I've been able to stick to one wipe when needed.
What's up SDGT supporters, we hope you're all doing well during all of this crazy COVID-19 crap that's been going on. I was in a panic until I turned the news off and only watched the official stuff from the government. I had to be reminded that the news gets rating from all this, so selling fear makes sense for them. It didn't make sense for me and my family, and maybe this will help you breathe a little easier. All we have to do is follow the rules, make sure we have what we need and not stress. I was getting depressed, but I feel better now and turning off the news might help you too.
Here's something you can look forward to this coming week, we're going to have a new episode of Watch & Nab! I think we're going to do the same for following week too, so you dudes and dudettes have the chance to Nab a free game.
I won't just leave you with that, here's some gameplay. Enjoy some food, chill exclusively with your family and friends who check out and game on. Peace out!
Before the official announcement of E3's cancellation, we knew it was coming... because of the COVID-19 concerns. It's something some of us have only heard about, and even if people have been trying to reassure the public that influenza has done more damage... no one is signing up to catch either.
So taking the Coronavirus concerns and placing them on anything that has anything to do with a large crowd of people who may potentially be infected by one or two people... and it's a no go. That's understandable... totally understandable. The cancellation takes away another opportunity for the virus to spread... and that's key. All isn't lost... take a look at the ESA statement below:
E3 2020 cancelled due to growing concerns over COVID-19 virus
After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors, and our longtime E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles.
Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters. But we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.
Our team will be reaching out directly to exhibitors and attendees with information about providing full refunds.
We are also exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience to showcase industry announcements and news in June 2020. Updates will be shared on E3Expo.com.
We thank everyone who shared their views on reimagining E3 this year. We look forward to bringing you E3 2021 as a reimagined event that brings fans, media, and the industry together in a showcase that celebrates the global video game industry.
So there will likely be an online showcase for announcements intended for E3 2020, even if it isn't live... it could be an awesome take on the E3 experience.
Going back to COVID-19 and viruses in general... at times its a shame to see crap hit the fan when preventative measure such as staying home when sick, covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, and washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water are available.
Join #TeamClean and let's fight back... collectively.
For all of you who drive for Uber and Lyft... I feel your pain, I drove here and there myself... and never felt crazy about having someone in my vehicle sounding as if they need a trip to the doctor. You're locked in a vehicle with these individuals for however long the trip from A to B is... and we've made an attempt to speak with both Uber and Lyft about the preventative measures they could take.
Considering the fact that they have access to both drivers and riders through their apps, they essentially have the ability to add in a pre-ride pop up screen to show drivers and riders how to cover up during a cough or sneeze and use hand sanitize when soap and water aren't available.
A pop up reminder before each ride... for the rider and every hour... for the driver would be a great way to keep awareness in the air... while being a part of the solution vs just waiting for it to worsen before doing anything. That's not how you prevent anything from happening. I totally appreciate the fact that Lyft is providing hand sanitizer to drivers at Lyft hubs, but... the reason why a pop-up reminder would be perfect... is the fact that sneezing in a car or coughing with a virus on-board can still affect the driver. Washing hands won't stop something that went in from an airborne angle.
To our audience... be safe... stay well... wash up regularly... and boost your immune systems!
Last week I listed boosting your immune system, but this week is all about protecting yourself with proper hygiene. Wash your hands for at least 20 to 30 seconds... shoot for 30!
Sneeze or Cough into your sleeve... do the dab if you don't have a tissue!
Don't sneeze in anyone else's direction, block it out.
Don't touch your face or someone else's face.
Stay home if you're sick... think about the rest of us!
Avoid large crowds and avoid places like buffets or even fountain drink machines.
COVID-19 has affected the chronically ILL and the elderly the hardest,
but... even if this isn't you... combating this virus is a team effort!
Stay healthy and game on!

From the CEATEC in the East... to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the West, we see innovation on top of innovation. This includes robotics, some of which I dream of owning one day... even if reality feels like it will forever be a carrot dangling from a string.
When it comes to the COVID-19, the next gen consoles may feel so close... yet so far away due to how rapid the spread is of this virus. Make no mistake, it's always exciting to see next gen and what games are pending release on the platforms... but the focus of this article is regarding a more serious issue (our well-being).
Why is it that we see all these amazingly innovative products, but... in a crisis situation we rarely ever "see" them utilized?
If manufacturers are closing up shop because of how serious the coronavirus is... then why not remove the people and allow the bots to take over at make shift (short-term) factories? Robots have the ability to make other robots, and robots can be remotely controlled (i.e. drones).
Again, it would make for a short-term solution so that robots don't replace workers who need those jobs... but during these times where we really can't afford to close up every single business, that's an option. Medication is needed on top of the list of other items that are deemed necessities.
Robots from a region that has yet to be impacted... can make robots to create short term manufacturing plants, or even utilize unaffected regions to make prefab manufacturing buildings for the robots to work in.
Robots can be used to also load, and transport the needed products to designated (robot-only) areas where they can load the cargo and drop it into those areas affected and unaffected to prevent the spread of virus such as the COVID-19.
It may seem like a tremendous undertaking, but I've seen robotics used for complex surgeries, transportation, military purposes, nursing homes, etc. They can be used as a bridge.
Why can't tech be used to combat the spread of viruses?
By the way, speaking of the spread of viruses, one huge thing you and others can do (right now) is... wash your hands before touching your face. Tada! I won't say it's just that simple, but that's one part of it.
Avoid close contact - If you need to get up close and personal with everyone you encounter... good luck with not getting sick, back up a little.
Avoid touching your eyes/nose/mouth - I'd have to add ears in that... don't touch your face in general with unclean hands and don't touch anyone else's face, especially babies (I've seen random strangers touch babies and it should always been considered uncool... no matter how much they love children because germs exist and you don't know them to touch them).
Stay home when you are sick (not sharing is caring)
Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze - Duh of the day, but... I've seen the opposite more often than not. Cough or sneeze in a napkin before tossing it, or into the arm fold.
Clean your hands - Wash them for at least 30 seconds w/ soap and water. Restaurants have to put signs on bathroom doors for their staff for a reason, because some people don't think twice about walking out of the bathroom before going back to serve up some food w/ a side of... filth.
It's a shame that everyone isn't required to do so, because that bathroom door handle doesn't discriminate. There should be auto open/close doors for multi-stall bathrooms so that no one has to deal with that door (even if it leads to more door). I like the doors that push out, and recently I was in a place that had a foot area where you open the door with your shoe but overall... wash your hands (it's not going to end you like a virus could)!
Speaking of cleaning... remember to spray Lysol or the equivalent on frequently used items... after use. That way you can come back to a virus-free item, whether it's the TV remote, your game controller, keyboard + mouse or... whatever! Anyway, stay health and... game on!
