Once Human: The Post-Apocalyptic Survival Game + The First 30 Gameplay!

In the vast landscape of survival games, “Once Human” stands out as a compelling blend of open-world exploration, intense combat, and intricate crafting. First Impressions and Unique Elements

When I first saw this game, I didn’t foresee it being the way it ultimately turned out. Not sure what I really thought I’d expect, but the Meta-Human aspect is a nice touch and elevated it a bit more beyond arming oneself with traditional weapons only to take on the baddies. I think the depth of this game will please those who are fans of co-op survival, crafting, horror, and third-person shooters.

GUANGZHOU, China – December 4, 2023 – NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES, HKEX: 9999) and Starry Studio are proud to announce that the next PC Beta Test for Once Human will begin December 6, 2023 at 9pm ET. Players can pre-load the game right now on the game’s official website. Beta participants will be able to experience several features from the game ahead of its 2024 launch, including open-world exploration, weapon crafting, base building, PvE combat, PvP battles and more! The Beta Test is open to everyone on PC; you only need to sign up.

Additionally, to celebrate the launch of the Beta Test, Starry Studio has released a 9-minute trailer showing the game’s unique world and enemies. The trailer shows players tracking down anomalies to capture and secure them to gain powerful rewards and special abilities. Along the way players will fight Aberrants and others in PvP using a wide array of weapons and gear.

Once Human is a free-to-play multiplayer supernatural survival game developed by Starry Studio for PC. In Once Human, an extra-terrestrial substance known as Stardust has altered the planet, transforming living creatures into Aberrants, terrifying monsters with supernatural abilities. Players take on the role of Metas – soldiers who protect the last surviving pockets of humanity from the growing threat posed by Aberrants while uncovering the secrets of Stardust pollution so that it may be stopped once and for all. 

To help them weather the dangers of Once Human, players can gather resources, hunt, fish and build outposts. They won’t be limited to battling in the same streets over and over, however, as they can use an RV to explore the eerie open world. The RV can be outfitted with upgrades, turning it into a moving base that merges combat and survival as players can use it to move in and out of danger granting them some well-deserved rest.

 

Once Human’s fascinating world is built to keep growing with each beta, granting players a glimpse into the secrets that reside in the game’s empty homes and abandoned military bases.
