Novemtails and Assemble Entertainment have released Under Canopies in Steam Early Access, inviting players to settle into a quiet cabin life surrounded by wildlife. The PC game launched October 23, 2026, for $14.99.
The studio describes the experience as a survival game with no combat or danger. Instead of fighting threats, players can build and customize a cabin, craft, farm, care for animals, explore the surrounding forest and photograph local wildlife.
That peaceful approach puts attention on living with the environment rather than conquering it. Wildlife photography and exploration are part of the core routine, while crafting and farming give players tools to shape a comfortable home base.
Under Canopies is now available through Steam Early Access. The developers say they have review codes available for interested press.
