Bad Guitar Studio and NetEase Games are expanding FragPunk with Farlands, a new free-to-play PvPvE adventure set to enter Early Access on PC and consoles November 5. The large-scale mode will run alongside the original Shard Clash experience.
Farlands centers on dangerous cargo runs across a vast, evolving arena. Players scavenge for resources, complete high-risk deliveries and bring supplies back to improve their gear, vehicles and base.
Those trips can turn into confrontations with hostile forces or rival players. Crews may try to outmaneuver competitors, or form temporary alliances to escort valuable cargo across the map. The environment also changes between runs, with shifting weather, creature threats, faction territories and resource locations.
The mode is designed for dozens of players in a shared space and introduces a different pace from FragPunk’s established team-based Shard Clash. It will be accessible from the existing FragPunk client when Early Access begins November 5.
Game on!
